The Sentinel’s Win A Dream Wedding competition

More than 180 couples are battling it out for the big prize of a fantastic Dream Wedding, to be won in The Sentinel’s fabulous competition.

We’ll be giving one lucky couple a wedding package worth £15,883, to be married next spring. Each of our romantic couples is eager to wed in style. They’ve each submitted a photograph of themselves and a nomination form - now they are relying on YOUR vote to win.

View all the entrants online or in the special photo supplement which appeared in The Sentinel on March 31, then name your favourite. Just fill in the forms printed in paper from Tuesday, March 31 to Monday, April 20 and return it to The Sentinel to cast your vote. Additional forms will be printed every day in The Sentinel from tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1 until Monday, April 20.

Votes must be received by Monday, April 27, 2009.

The number of votes counted will determine our top 10 finalists. The 10 couples will then be invited to the final at the Manor House hotel in Alsager, where they will have to impress the panel of independent judges and take part in a Mr-and-Mrs-style game. (provisional date Thursday, June 18, 2009).

The judges will include Louise Stones from Signal Radio, representatives of the Staffordshire Wedding Circle, Dean Yardley, Director of popular wedding portal Hitched.co.uk, Mike Sassi, Editor-in-Chief of The Sentinel, and the manager of the Manor House hotel.

The winning couple will enjoy an all-inclusive wedding on Saturday, March 27, 2010. After their exciting hen and stag events, which will include personalized t-shirts, the pair will enjoy a luxury wedding reception at the Manor House hotel with a disco and travel in style to the wedding in luxury cars.

They’ll benefit from a bespoke photography package and video of their special day, have a pair of white doves released in their honour, and receive a commemorative plate plus a presentation disc of their first dance.

They will receive wedding rings, a designer bridal gown and bridesmaids’ dresses, wedding shoes, tiaras, mother of the bride’s outfit, suit hire for six, plus stylish cufflinks for the groom.

For the wedding reception they’ll have designer wedding invitations and favour boxes, balloons, a sensational wedding cake, deluxe chocolate fountain, all the flowers and buttonholes, plus chair covers and swags to match any theme. The bride will enjoy a facial, a spray tan, beauty nails and hairdressing package at a top Hanley salon, for herself and her bridesmaids, a weight loss programme, and even lingerie. Last but by no means least, the winners will receive a £1,500 honeymoon to round it all off, and handcrafted thank-you cards to send to the guests.

The nine runners-up will each receive goodie bags to include spa packages from Moddershall Oaks, near Stone, plus fabulous portrait photography prizes.
