'We want to hear hospital patients' views'
PATIENTS who have been treated at Stafford Hospital are being urged to come forward to have their say on the care they received.
Health watchdog Staffordshire Local Involvement Network (LINk) has made the appeal just days after management consultants questioned the hospital's long-term future.
The consultants have found the hospital has no sustainable clinical or financial future in its current form.
It has been in crisis since high death rates were uncovered and problems later surfaced in breast cancer care.

LINk manager Sue Baknak said: "When people tell us about their personal experiences of health and social care in the county, it feeds directly into the decision-making process.
"The more people talk to us, the more they can help improve the things that need improving and protect the things that are working really well."
Neighbouring NHS centres, including the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, are gearing up to take more Stafford patients.
