V Festival tickets go on sale today
Also making up the bill at Weston Park and Chelmsford will be Razorlight, The Specials and Katy Perry, while Snow Patrol, Lily Allen, and Pete Doherty are making a return.
Others acts set to be highlights of the two-day event, which this year takes place on the weekend of August 22 and 23, include The Ting Tings, pictured, The Enemy, The Saturdays, The Script and Seasick Steve.
As the V box office prepares itself for the usual mad rush on tickets sales, festival director Bob Angus said: "We're genuinely thrilled to have such an eclectic line-up.
"Our headliners, The Killers and Oasis, are two of the biggest acts in music today, and with them being joined by some really exuberant newcomers, this summer's V Festival is set to give festival fans something to shout about."
Now in its 14th year, the annual V festival alternates acts between its two sites.
Tickets cost £152.50 for a weekend pass with camping, £132.50 for a weekend pass without camping, and £73.50 for a day ticket.
