New acts to make it best ever festival

THREE more acts have joined the line-up for this year's V Festival.

Ladyhawke, the Lightning Seeds and Danish six-piece, Alphabeat, will be gracing the stage at Weston Park, Stafford, on August 22 and 23.

Oasis and The Killers had already been announced as the headliners for the festival, which will be celebrating its 14th year.

Festival director, Bob Angus, said: "With these great additions to the already 60 plus line up, this year's V Festival is set to be the best yet. However, we still have a few more sneaky additions up our sleeves."

Music lovers have been snapping up tickets since they went on sale in March.

Tickets to the Chelmsford part of the festival, in Hylands Park, sold out in under two hours. There are now only weekend camping tickets available for Weston Park.
