New acts are coming to V

CALVIN Harris, Athlete, Tinchy Stryder and Lemar are among another 17 acts confirmed for this year's V Festival.

The other musicians added to the lined up for the August bank holiday event at Weston Park, Staffordshire, are Jet, Human League, Starsailor, Will Young, Noisettes, The Proclaimers, Natalie Imbruglia, Red Light Company, Mr Hudson, The King Blues, Matt Tracker, Daniel Merriweather and 2 Many DJs.

They join headliners Oasis and The Killers for the 14th annual event.

Festival Director, Bob Angus, said: "V always endeavours to cater for all musical tastes but this year fans are truly in for it with bands old and new."
