“I can't disagree with you Bernwa. However I do think that the d-road is home to some spectacularly bad design when it comes to slip roads - particularly the traffic joining from the MFI roundabout going northbound, where the slip road is short and cannot cope with the large volumes of traffic needing to merge into the main flow.
It doesn't help also that the drivers around here are so selfish, impatient and unprepared. I frequently steel myself on the daily commute for the anticipated drivers who cut me up as they drift into lane one, and then slam on their anchors immediately as they try to get off onto the slip road at the last possible inch.”

“Since many motorists joining the main flow of traffic make the assumption that they have a right to merge regardless rather than give way where necessary, I'm surprised this doesn't happen much more often!!”
