More tests on assault victim
THE family of a man who died following an assault outside a pub must wait to find out what caused his death.
A post-mortem examination carried out on David Heath, aged 46, yesterday proved inconclusive.
Mr Heath, of Uttoxeter Road, Longton, died at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire on Sunday following the incident on Friday, January 13.
Mark Wint, aged 43, of Cornwallis Street, Stoke, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and is bailed to Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
