FOLLOWING in his father's footsteps, Mickey Wilkes has already proved he has charisma on stage.

The three-year-old surprised home-grown star and pantomime favourite Jonathan when he ran on to join him during callback auditions for Stoke's Top Talent.

As Jonny prepared to reveal who had made it through to the finals in September, cheeky Mickey won the audience over by playing peekaboo through his dad's legs.

The winner of Stoke's Top Talent 2009 will receive a three-month professional contract to appear with Jonathan in this year's Regent Theatre pantomime, Dick Whittington, plus £1,000 from show sponsor The Sentinel. They will also appear at Our Heroes awards in September.
