Why should we support firms?
WHY should taxpayers' money be used to assist small business operators?
Since most of these operators are Tory biased, why should they be supported by donations from the general public – two thirds of whom are not Tory supporters?
What is the difference in investing in nationalisation, a not-for--profit public enterprise, or the routing of public money to private enterprise?
I think one is to profit us all and the other is to buy more Tory votes. I know which enterprise the majority of voters would prefer.

The big plus, claimed by Tories at their conference, was that one million jobs had been created in the private sector.
Not surprising, considering taxpayers' money is being used to 'buy' these jobs for capitalist ventures, the majority of which will fail.
A 'new' Tory idea recently publicised by the Government is Workplace Pensions.
Again, in the 1970s, millions of workers were staggered when thousands of employers closed down workers' pension schemes, claiming that they could not be afforded. Surely some young Tory policy guru had missed this fact.

“To spell it out simply is that we need new business start ups to keep the economy going and to help new businesses take off they need help with funding. Where do you get your facts that most of these are tory biased??? I am sorry but you sound like a bitter Labour supporter and your argument has so many holes it is untrue!!!”
