Process worker Steve Hine, aged 38, of Windrush Close, Trentham, is a regular visitor to Trentham Monkey Forest with his three-year-old son Christian.

Mr Hine said: "We come every now and again because it is somewhere good for kids and handy because it is on our doorstep. Children always love seeing the monkeys."

Kay Brown, aged 42, of Cannock, was also on a return visit.

The part-time fitness instructor said: "The monkey forest is a great place to come because the Trentham estate is only up the road so there are things to please everyone.

"We try to see as much of it as we can when we visit."

Mick Woodrow, a police officer, visited the attraction for the first time with his family.

The 37-year-old, from Lichfield, said: "It is great that you can get so close to the animals.

"The children have really enjoyed it."
