Stoke City: Megson backs Potters

BOLTON manager Gary Megson believes Arsene Wenger was wrong to publicly condemn Stoke's tactics.

Megson, who had a spell coaching at Stoke last season, says Wenger should look in-house before making judgments.

"I don't think any team, including Arsenal, go out intentionally to hurt people – but sometimes it happens," he said.

"(Abou) Diaby did not do (Bolton player) Gretar Steinsson too many favours six months ago, but we do not moan about it. We accept it as part and parcel of the game. I think everyone should do that."
