Stoke City: Soares and Wedderburn go out on loan

MIDFIELDERS Tom Soares and Nathaniel Wedderburn joined the ranks of Stoke's on-loan players when they were moved out before yesterday's 5pm transfer deadline.
Soares has joined Coca-Cola Championship side Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the year while Wedderburn has been loaned to League Two outfit Hereford United until January 4.
Yesterday was the last chance for Football League clubs to sign players until the transfer window opens again in January.
The 23-year-old Soares has only started five Premier League games since his £1.5m move from Crystal Palace at the end of the August 2008 transfer window.
