Stoke City: Club linked to Murphy as player-coach

City manager Tony Pulis is searching for additions to his backroom staff after assistant manager Dave Kemp took up a new scouting role in America.
National media reports have now linked former Liverpool star Murphy with a move to the Potteries, along with Portsmouth's £6m-rated attacker John Utaka.
