RUSHALL seconds maintained their promotion push with another comfortable victory, this time over Cannock.
Cannock were soon in trouble at 20-4 and it could have been worse if Rushall had not dropped several catches.
Stevenson (22) then tried to steady the Cannock innings, but when he was bowled by Alan Dunn (4-20), they collapsed to 65 all out.
Dunn also enjoyed a run out with a direct hit from fine leg. He received excellent support from Andy Callaghan (3-4), who wrapped up the tail with his left-arm boomerangs.
Even though Rushall lost their first wicket to the second ball of their innings, their only danger came from the weather.
But Neil Phillips (21no) and skipper Aftab Nawaz (34no) quickly knocked off the required runs in just 11 overs.
