Non-league football: Dominoes finally get their Marren
Marren first impressed Hollinshead when he played for Eccleshall against Dominoes, and he has kept tabs on the youngster since.
Hollinshead, pictured right, said: "We beat Eccleshall 1-0, but Mick was the best player on the pitch. He also did well against us for Norton, so he was on my list.
"Mick is only 19, but he is experienced at our level. He also has energy to go with his ability and is a winner. He has gone from pay to no pay, so I am impressed with his ambition."
Marren is ineligible for Dominoes' second-round Trophy tie at home to Ashton Town, so he will have a game in the reserves.
Meanwhile, NORTON have lodged a complaint to the Staffs FA over the way the Marren move was conducted.
Manager Dave Johnson said: "There are no hard feelings with Mick, but Dominoes made their approach before the seven days' notice had elapsed.
"We understand they have offered Mick a job of coaching in the community as part of the deal, so we wish him well."
Norton are at home to Irlam without Tom Fogg and Simon Robinson, who are both banned, but Paul Macari could have recovered from injury.
LEEK CSOB are hoping to have striker Will Bown back on parade for their tie at Wigan Robin Park
Bown has been out of action for some time through injury, but Old Boys player manager Brett Barlow rates the former Port Vale youth player highly.
He said: "Will has loads of ability and should be up there among the top scorers in the league, but he needs a run of games." Dean Owen is unavailable while Adam Coulston, formerly with Meir KA, has moved on to get a regular game with Florence.
ECCLESHALL could have goalkeeper Gavin Deaville back in contention at home to Barnoldswick Town after missing the last two games.
In his absence Eccleshall have been well served, first by Mark Heath and then Scott Wiggins, who was a late call-up for the 3-2 win at Wigan Robin Park last Saturday.
Eccleshall are on a decent run of five games without defeat, but will be without midfielders Danny Hughes and Dhalmanhi Dalisizwe.
