Cricket: Bagnall continue to dominate
Alex Ravenscroft's side are now 21 points clear at the top after a six-wicket victory over Meir Heath Fenton. Verinder Sharma (5-49) and Andy Palmer (4-25) were the main performers as Meir Heath Fenton were dismissed for 144, despite a 56-run opening stand between Paul Farmer (30) and Mohammed Younis (42).
Robert Ward's unbeaten 46 completed the win, while Martin Mason added 34. Chris Mellor picked up 3-57.
Hanford remain in second after a 24-run victory over Endon.
Roger Davies struck six fours and two sixes in his 68 to help Hanford to 187-7. Rob Kyle provided excellent support with 32.
Opening bowlers Mike Coxon and Chris Machin had Endon in early trouble, but Jordon Weaver (48) and Michael Dawson (36) kept them in the hunt.
However, Coxon (5-52) and Machin (4-22) returned to polish off the tail as Endon were bowled out for 163.
Moddershall A bowler Upul Indrasiri returned impressive figures of 4-17 from 20.3 overs to keep his side in the promotion race with victory over Wedgwood Stanfields.
Michael Dyer also took 4-23 as Wedgwood Stanfields were dismissed for 96 in pursuit of Moddershall A's 169 all out.
Norton in Hales' search for a first win of the season continues after they lost to Hem Heath Forsbrook.
Norton in Hales would have been confident of breaking their duck as they posted 219 all out, mainly thanks to Simon Elwell's 62.
Openers John Woodfield and Neil Bloor both hit 32, and number 11 Alan Bloor (28) helped Elwell add 66 for the last wicket.
Hem Heath Forsbrook struggled to 93-6 in pursuit, but Chris Wright (75) and Chris Prime (34) turned the tables to help their side to victory. Craig Ruscoe claimed 4-59 for Norton in Hales.
Porthill Park A took the spoils against Oakamoor after a four-wicket win.
Oakamoor looked on course for a big score as Dan Knight (41) and Jonathan Wood (30) guided them to 85-1. However, Matt Webster (4-42) instigated a collapse to 133 all out.
Richard Powner struck 35 and Mick Farr's unbeaten 29 proved enough for Porthill Park A.
Woore claimed a winning draw against Eccleshall.
Woore were on the back foot as they fell to 58-7, with Matthew Pepper taking 4-50.
However, Majid Hussain (43) and Alex Saunders (91no) added 134 for the eight wicket on the way to their side's 207-8 declared.
Robert Lakin (67) handed Eccleshall a fine start to their run chase, but Dave Quinton (4-60) and Jonty Bailey (3-54) maintained the pressure.
Pepper finished on 36 not out, but it was not enough for his team as they closed on 206-9.
