AS AN exiled Valeite who travels to games from Manchester I wanted to share a recent story of Mr Bratt.

A colleague, who follows Man City, was visiting Moorcroft Pottery and decided to pop to the Vale with his dad to take a few photos.

They were approached by Bill Bratt who enquired where they were from.

After a brief conversation, my mate and his dad were then given a behind the scenes tour by Bill.

My mate was gobsmacked at how down to earth, and what a gentleman Bill was.

Should I turn up at Eastlands with a camera I can't see the owners affording me the same treatment.

A lot of personal abuse has been directed at Bill, but he has done his best for the club and always had Vale in his heart, a true gentleman.
