BEST DIY Ltd was founded in June 1996, its Sutherland Road, Longton branch has been trading as a retail 'Do it Yourself' store for more than 40 years. At Longton our customers can enjoy the use of our FREE 50 vehicle Car Park.
We also have three other branches in the North West.
BEST for DIY, is our trading name and we consider that we are the BEST in the DIY market as we aim to sell Top Branded DIY products at competitive prices. Having four stores within the group gives us the ability to buy very keenly which allows us to compete very favourably with other retailers. We are constantly monitoring prices and always aim to be the BEST value in the area.
Our main strength are in Paints & Wall Coverings all the year round, and with Gardening in the summer and Christmas Decorations when the Gardening season is over.
Our Paint ranges include: Dulux, Crown, Johnstones, Leyland, & Sandtex brands, as well as Ronseal, Cuprinol, & Hammerite products. Recently we were awarded the special status of becoming a Dulux Colour Advice Centre where we have the facility to mix up to 10,000 different colours of paints using the latest technology with the new Dulux Colour mixing machine.
At Best DIY we are particularly proud of our Wall Covering Department as we carry in excess of 500 patterns of Wallpapers from most of the well known suppliers, including Graham & Browns Super Fresco and Belgravias Italian Classic vinyl ranges, with prices varying from £2.99 to £24.99 per roll. It is common place to see customers together with their professional decorator making selections within our Wall Covering Showroom.
To enhance our Wall Covering ranges we carry a modern range of Electrical Lamps, general lighting and electrical accessories including electrical cable.
Decorators sundry items are all well stocked to include brushes of all sizes and types as well as solvents and sealants for the amateur & professional DIYer alike.
Our General DIY ranges include Ladders, Timber, Hardware, Curtain Track, Fixings, Plumbing, Sand and Cement. Our modest well priced Kitchen displays are well worth a visit. They have proved to be a successful addition within our timber and bathroom accessories display areas.
We carry a comprehensive range of both hand and power tools from top names such as Bosch & Draper Tools.
Summer time sees our Car Park area transformed into a Grow Bag, Peat, Multipurpose Compost and General Aggregates Show ground. Bedding plants are available adjacent to the main entrance together with a comprehensive range of Garden Ornaments. Within the store itself we stock a large and comprehensive range of garden chemicals and tools, to satisfy every gardeners needs. When the sun shines you'll see a large and competitive range of Garden Furniture and Barbeques on display within the store to satisfy everyones needs and budget.
October sees most of our Gardening ranges packed away to allow us to transform our seasonal a
