A shabby way to treat poor Karon
I AM appalled by the story of Karon Harrison being forced out of the home she was born and bred in by Aspire Housing (The Sentinel, February 15.)
Here is a lady who works full-time, pays her rent and council tax and has not been a burden to society.

DESPAIR: Karon Harrison claims she is being forced out of the home she was born and bred in by Aspire Housing. Letter writer Bridget O'Boyle is appalled that someone who has not been a burden to society will lose her home.
Why should she not remain in her home?

“Whilst it is a shame to force karon out of the house she was born in, the bottom line is that the house does not belong to her and never has done. Any landlord has the right to terminate a rental agreement as they own the house. She has lived in a social housing property all her life, which are in high demand for up and coming families. No one gets an automatic right to stay in these propeties that is unless they have purchased the property.”
