JAZZ: The Yacht Club 4 make their first appearance at Stafford Jazz Society tomorrow. The club meets at Stafford Rangers FC Social Club, Astonfields Road, Stafford, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. Vocalist Christine Tyrrell is a renowned jazz, blues and gospel singer who has performed all over the world. Tickets cost £5 for members and £6 for non-members.

CONCERT: The Barbara Walton Singers perform at St John The Baptist Church in Barlaston on Saturday, December 15, at 7.30pm. Conducted by David Burrowes, the event features carols and readings. Tickets cost £5 or £2 for students from 01889 502377 or www.barbara-walton-singers.org.uk

MUSIC: Local lads Stepping Lane headline The Old Brown Jug in Newcastle on Saturday from 9pm. Lead singer Robin Soleimani was recently seen on ITV's hit show Take Me Out but is back with a bang on the music scene. Expect a mixture of indie classics and classic rock. Admission is free.

TRIBUTE: The Doors Experience headline The Full Moon in Newcastle from 8.30pm tonight. Tickets are priced at £5 from See Tickets online, and there will be a small amount available on the door.
