'It's great performing for an audience...'
Annie Knobbs, aged 14, from Newcastle, a pupil at St Joseph's College, who performed with the Minnie Skerrett School of Dance, said: "It's nice to be able to go out and perform on stage in front of your family.
"I did the Stage Experience show during the summer so I have been on stage before and I really enjoy the experience."
Laura Fowell, aged 14, from Blurton, a pupil at Thomas Alleyne's High School, who also performed with the Minnie Skerrett School of Dance, said: "We have been rehearsing for Dance012 since September. I was about seven when I first started dancing. My sister Natalie got me into it and I have never looked back since."
Chloe Hudson, aged five, from Newcastle, a pupil at St Chad's Primary School, one of the youngest performers with Minnie Skerrett School of Dance, said: "I really enjoy dancing, it is such good fun. I have been doing it since I was two and I like everything about it. Being on stage is great."
Charlotte Reeves-Jones, aged 14, from Baddeley Green, a pupil at Holden Lane High School, said: "I have performed at The Regent before and I loved it, it was a great experience.
"Being able to perform on stage is a great experience. I was nervous but also confident about going out there."
Charis Hancock, aged 14, from Milton, a pupil at Holden Lane High School, said: "I was only three when I first started dancing.
"I love the feeling of being on stage. I performed with Angela Beardmore School Of Dance and that was just a great experience."
Jessica Heath, aged 15, from Ball Green, a pupil at Holden Lane High School, said: "I will be back on Saturday with Sandy Lane Dancers. I love to show my ability on the stage.
"My family come and watch all my shows and that is really nice."
