REGARDING the saga of The Hole In The Wall. It is not the end of the oatcake as they try to make us believe. Although they are quite good oatcakes, they are not the only ones made and sold in the Stoke-on-Trent.

“At last, someone actually make a good point regarding this. There are still plenty of oatcake shops in stoke-on-trent and they are making oatcakes to the traditional recipe! I personally know of one which isn't too far away from the hole in the wall, down on Leek Road which does! I personally would say that the oatcakes made down at TJ's are better than the ones I have had from the hole in the wall!!”
