What's on: Bonfire and firework displays in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire
WITH the Bonfire weekend now upon us, This is Staffordshire has put together a guide to the region’s big displays.
Among the highlights is the annual firework spectacular at Alton Towers, which runs for three nights from November 2-4.

Organisers are promising another spectacular display, with the theme park also due to remain open until 9pm each night.
Both the Trentham Estate and Shugborough Estate are also due to stage celebrations across the Bonfire weekend and a display is due to be held at Weston Park, the site of the V Festival, in Weston-Under-Lizard.

Alton Towers Resort Fireworks.
The fireworks at Alton Towers are held each night from Friday, November 2, until Sunday, November 4. The theme park is open every day until 9pm. An adult ticket on the night costs £45 and a child’s ticket (under 12s) costs £36. Significant discounts are available for those who book online at the Alton Towers website . The Trentham Estate Bonfire Night
On Friday, November 2, Trentham Gardens along with the Rotary Clubs of North Staffordshire will be organising a bonfire and fireworks display. Tickets for this event are now sold out.

Weston Park Bonfire Night.
The display at Weston Park kicks off at 6pm on Sunday, November 4, and features two firework displays and a fun fair, all within Weston Park’s 1,000 acres of Parkland. Gates open at 3pm and the bonfire is lit at 5pm. City Central Library's Bonfire Night Tales
The City Central Library is the place to be for some cracking Bonfire Night tales and fantastic firework crafts on November 3 from 11am-noon. Organisers say “you can almost hear the crackle of the bonfire and the whoosh and the bang of rockets” as the story-telling and activities bring the excitement of Bonfire Night indoors. The event is suitable for ages seven and under and all children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

Stone Bonfire Night
Stone's spectacular annual bonfire and firework display will be held on Saturday, November 3, at Westbridge Park - and organisers promise a fantastic night for this years special anniversary event.
Stone Town Charity Bonfire and Fireworks Committee are celebrating a spectacular 25 years of hosting the event, and are keen for crowds to have a night they won't forget.
The ever-popular event, which draws scores of locals and visitors to Westbridge Park each year, promises fun for everyone, while raising vital cash for local charities.
There'll be fun, games and entertainment for all of the family.

Alrewas Scouts Bonfire Night
Community bonfire night to support local scout troop. There will be music plus food stalls including hot drinks, candy floss, hot dogs and burgers, sparkler enclosure and glow sticks. There is also a prize for the best Guy Fawkes. This is an eco friendly event, with all lighting being powered by solar charged batteries. No alcohol allowed on site. Uttoxeter fireworks and bonfire display- organised by the Uttoxeter Lions.

Fright Night and Bonfire Party at Lower Drayton Farm
A joint Halloween ‘Spooktacular’ and bonfire night celebration will be held on Saturday, November 3, starting at 3pm in the afternoon.
Children can enjoy the fairground rides, while older kids and the young-at-heart will relish the challenge of taking on the Maize Maze in the dark while dodging zombies and other spooky characters.

Fireworks at Tamworth Castle
This free fireworks display on Saturday, November 3, is now in its fifth year and is expected to be more breathtaking than ever this time around! There will also be discount admission to Tamworth Castle,food stalls, family activities and a fair. The climax of the night is the 20-minute pyrotechnic spectacular set to music, which starts at 8pm.
