Robbie Williams 'set to rejoin Take That'
The 35-year-old Angels star is quoted in a national newspaper as saying he was in contact with his former band mates and a reunion was on the cards.
"I'm in regular contact with them and it's looking more likely by the week. The lads all seem up for it. I think it would be fun," Robbie is reported to have said.
"Let's see what happens, but my head's in the right place, so the timing could be right if Gary calls. I think it would be fun. It would be good."
Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Gary Barlow – who Robbie is believed to have fallen out with before he quit Take That – split the band in 1996 a year after Robbie left.
But in 2005 they reformed and have since sold more than six million albums and scored number one hits with Patience and Shine.
Robbie, who had been living in Los Angeles, recently returned to live in the UK.
On Wednesday, Robbie set flashbulbs popping after turning up to watch Jonathan perform in a hit musical.
Robbie was in Manchester for the opening night of We Will Rock You, the popular show based on the songs of rock legends Queen. Jonathan is starring in the show, which is embarking on a UK tour opening at the Palace Theatre.
