A traditional 17th century country inn overlooking a picturesque location is not all you’ll find with Ye Olde Rock Inn. As a family run country inn, Simon and Alison warmly welcome you to come on down and join the fantastic atmosphere that resonates through all four corners of this beautifully located retreat.

We take great pride in being situated next to one of the best scenic climbing spots in the UK, known as The Roaches. Many people walk around this gorgeous area within Peak National Park and we welcome hikers and climbers alike to our country inn.

Our Food & Drink
Ye Olde Rock Inn strives to provide you with delicious home cooked food. Our menu is vast and aims to cater for all tastes. So whether you’re looking for a quick pie with your pint or want to settle down for a 3 course meal, we can accommodate you with a tasty treat. We also do a delicious Sunday Roast for only £6.95 with a select choice of meats.

If you’re more interested in what we have to drink then we’ve also got that covered pretty well. We serve a range of drinks for a range of occasions. Our selection includes:

We are proud of our food and drink but in case you’re wondering we have been awarded a 5 Star Rating after a Food Hygiene Inspection by Staffordshire & Moorlands District Council.
