“ Mum took me to the China Palace when I visited her recently from London. She highly recommended the soft shell crab which I have to say was delicious and far superior to the Bauhinia and that which we ate in Singapore. On arriving Patrick remembered me from previous visits to Mr Chan's where he used to work. When Mum and I had finished our mains we were both so full we could not manage dessert, until Patrick brought us some complimentary lemon sorbet which was amazing and a real palate cleanser. I cannot wait to go back! ”

“I recently had dinner at the China Palace and must say I found it a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, the staff were attentive but not over-powering and the restaurant has a big window along one side so you can overlook the street while having dinner, which I loved (I do love a window seat!) I would definitely go back again.”

“Yes, we have visited the restaurant recently as we had heard that Patrick had taken it over. Food was very good and staff were attentive without being obtrusive, really enjoyed it and prices were very reasonable.”
