Eating out
"I would choose the Hand and Trumpet to eat out in, with its peaceful atmosphere and menu full of variety. The restaurant is in the picturesque village of Wrinehill. It is beginning to gain a great reputation for being a popular place to eat, serving food and drink which is locally sourced. I have visited the Hand And Trumpet with friends and have always enjoyed the experience. It's a nice country inn with a pleasant outdoor seating area overlooking a pond and countryside.
The main meals are not cheap, ranging from around £9 to £15, but it is worth paying a little extra for the quality. The menu offers a diverse choice of meat and fish dishes as well as vegetarian options. You can tell that the food is freshly cooked and your meal comes beautifully presented. Because of its growing popularity, I like to visit the Hand And Trumpet at lunchtimes to avoid the occasional bustle of tea-times. It is nice to sit in both the inside and outdoor areas, with the cosy decor of the inside very welcoming in winter while the outdoor area is worthy for a drink in the summer weather."
