Have say on homes plan
About 250 are being knocked down and replaced with around 280 homes as part of the proposed £55 million transformation of the Coalville estate, at Weston Coyney.
But some residents are not happy with the plans, which are now subject to a compulsory purchase order (CPO) application.
The parts of the estate affected by the CPO include land and buildings in Main Street, East Street, Aster Close, Dahlia Close, Lynn Street, Iris Close, Selby Street, Lilac Close, Lime Close, Gate Street, Cross Street, Bath Street, Coalville Place and Foxglove Close.
Residents and landlords had six weeks from March 31 to object to the CPO. To have your say call council officer Jackie Parker on 01782 232874.
