REAL ale lovers can take their pick from dozens of varieties at an annual beer festival.

The Swan Inn, Stone, is hosting its 11th annual festival between July 4 and 12.

This year's theme is peaks and tractors and visitors will be able to sample the delights of 75 ales and ciders.

As well as the pub's local ales there will be several arriving from breweries in Derbyshire and Norfolk, including names such as the Thornbridge brewery and Fat Cat Brewery.

Manager Barrie Webb said: "There will also be live music everyday throughout the festival with a band on Saturday, a '60s band on Sunday and some of our regular bands playing as well."
