Houses are laser-guided

A LASER light will guide visitors to the opening of three new showhomes at Barratt Mercia's new Burgess Brook development, above, in Newcastle on Friday.

The event, from 4pm to 7pm, celebrates the completion of the new homes and offers visitors a chance to wander around the Staffordshire development could be like. The homes include the three-bedroom detached Edinburgh, the five-bedroom detached Ascot and the Windermere – a four-bedroom detached property. Prices range from £211,950 and £328,950.

At the opening, a laser light will be the main attraction and staff will be on hand to serve hot jacket potatoes, toffee apples and other treats.
