The East West Centre: Developer Realis Estates (Stoke) Ltd has outline permission to build a £250 million retail and leisure facility, with new bus station, in the John Street car park area.

The Central Business District: The £230 million development, pegged for the Hinde Street area bordering the new Tesco development and the Cultural Quarter, aims to deliver 2,500 jobs.

The Hope Village: A large area of the north of the city centre, including the existing Tesco store, in which a housing, retail and leisure development is planned.

Mixed use development: Land will be opened up for commercial and residential development on either side of Clough Street and will be served by the creation of the new Potteries Way link road.
