'You can't fix the damage later on'
Daniel Henson, aged 23, who lives in Knutton Lane, says his daughter Nakeisha, aged three, has started to copy her parents when it comes to brushing her teeth.
He said: "It's important that children look after their teeth from a young age so they are healthy when they are older.
"Having toothpaste and brushes sent through the post is good."
Rebecca Braithwaite, aged 29, who lives in Silverdale, makes sure 20-month-old daughter Ruby brushes her teeth at least once a day.
She said: "It's hard to know which toothbrush and type of toothpaste to buy sometimes because there are so many, and you have to get what is right for their mouth and gums.
"You have to keep on top because if their teeth get damaged or are not looked after properly, then you can't fix the damage when they're older."
BRUSHING UP: One-year-old Ruby Braithwaite.
