Opening times: During school term time, the attraction is open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm and 10am to 5pm at the weekend. In school holidays, the centre is open Monday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm. A minimum of four hours is suggested per visit.
How to get there: National Space Centre, Exploration Drive, Leicester, LE4 5NS. The National Space Centre is located just off the A6, two miles north of Leicester city centre, midway between Leicester's inner and outer ring roads. Brown road signs with a distinctive rocket logo will direct you from the arterial routes.
Disabled access: The building is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with mobility issues, including the Rocket Tower with lifts to all floors. Free parking is available for vehicles displaying blue badges. The Space Theatre has spaces for up to six wheelchairs. Subject to availability, wheelchairs can be loaned to visitors free of charge. Large print information is available upon request. Assistance dogs are welcome.
