Tom heads for Crufts with top dog Pepsi (VIDEO)

SHOW TIME: Tom Marks will be hoping his dog will have its day when he competes at Crufts next month.

Eleven-year-old Tom and his border collie Pepsi have qualified for the agility competition at the world famous dog show.

The Clayton Hall Business and Language College pupil only started dog agility three years ago but this will be the third year in a row that he has competed at the show in Birmingham.

Tom, of Priory Road, Westlands, said: "I've been training dogs since I was eight. My mum does it so that's how I got into it."

Tom is a member of the Staffs Agility School in Cheadle, where his mum Mandi teaches.

She said: "I think Tom stands a good chance because he has more experience now."

Crufts takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from March 5 to 8.
