Students tell of their success as look forward to university

The Sentinel spoke to students at Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College, Fenton.

Tilly Spencer, aged 18, of Elaine Avenue, Burslem, got a C in business, a C in psychology, and a D in English Language and is studying business at Liverpool University. She said: "I did have to work hard."

Samantha Xueres, aged 18, of Fenpark Road, Fenton, who got a C in geography, a C in English and a D in geology, will study geography and geology at Keele University. She said: "I'm really happy."

Zoe Harrison, aged 18, of Kenilworth Grove, Dresden, got an A in English Language, a B in Media and a B in Art. She said: " English was the one I really wanted an A in."
