SHOW TIME: One of the largest agricultural events in the country opens its doors today.

Daredevil bareback horse-riders and motorcycle display teams are among the spectacular stunts at this year's Staffordshire County Show.

Other highlights include a children's farm, an enlarged woodland area with a host of activities and traditional crafts, dog shows and the very popular Quack Pack and falconry displays.

The Heart of England Fine Food Fair, held in the showground's massive food hall, will see a number of top Midlands chefs creating locally sourced dishes in the Cookery Theatre, as well as more than 50 stands showcasing the best of local produce.

And, of course, traditional livestock exhibitors from across country will attend the two-day show at the County Showground in http://www.thisisstaffordshire.co.uk/mytownstafford">Stafford.

John Deere Transport Manager Richard Stevenson is pictured showing off the firm's latest tractors.
