Ford Green Hall shows itself off to potential wedding couples

FORD BETTER OR WORSE: An historic venue opened its doors to couples planning to tie the knot.

Ford Green Hall held a weddings open day to show off the building to those looking for the ideal location for their special day.

The 17th century hall in Smallthorne has hosted civil ceremonies for more than 10 years.

Councillor Hazel Lyth, Stoke-on-Trent City Council portfolio holder for enterprise and culture, said: "The open day provided an opportunity for couples to gain a flavour of how their own wedding day might turn out in an intimate and historic venue."
