The A50 by the Britannia Stadium is dangerous

A50 DANGER: I am writing to you about the danger of the A50 running down by the side of the Britannia Stadium.

I take my wife and her friends to work each morning at the hospital. Judging by the state of the traffic I might just end up inside it. There ought to be at least three speed cameras situated, one at the brow of the hill, one by the stadium, and one at the roundabout going towards Stoke. The wagons and articulated lorries travelling down that strech are going at breakneck speed. I have clocked them doing 60-plus going down the bank. Once they get their speed up they won't ease up, and their weight carries them forward. No wonder they often turn over.

They get in the fast lane because of the adjoining slip roads, and more often than not don't come back over until the bottom by the roundabout, often just pulling in front of the cars in the inside lane. Just look at the tyre marks. There have been a lot of accidents on that stretch of road, but do we have to have carnage before this council does anything about it?
