40 more jobs under threat at Wedgwood

ANOTHER 40 Wedgwood and Royal Doulton jobs are under threat at the firm's distribution centre.

The china-maker's U.S. owners say cuts need to be made at the Stone depot because sales are being hit by the recession.

But critics believe the latest redundancy programme is a result of more production being transferred from the Barlaston factory to Wedgwood's plant in Indonesia.
