CHILDREN have the chance to take part in a wide range of activities this February half term across Stafford borough.

The Get Out! programme has been organised by Stafford Borough Council and takes place over five days from Monday, February 15.

Activities include football coaching, a family swim, teaching aquatics course and swimming lessons at Stafford Leisure Centre. There will also be trampoline skills, swimming lessons and a family swim at Alleyne's Sports Centre in Stone.

And youngsters can sample a piece of history by joining King Arthur's noble knights in making a treasure map, searching for lost treasure and discovering the forgotten world of medieval arts and crafts at Stafford Castle.

There will also be the 5 Alive mobile skatepark at venues in Stafford, Doxey and Stone.
