Time Out for youngsters

Wednesday, July 01, 2009, 09:20

SCHOOL pupils took part in a series of activities to mark Time Out week.

The event is designed to get pupils engaging in projects outside the normal school curriculum.

Yesterday, youngsters from Nantwich's Brine Leas High School got involved.

Youngsters enjoyed looking at a variety of owls from Leek-based Majestic Owls who came into the school to show pupils the birds they look after.

Ann Broady, the school's community co-ordinator, said: "The children have really enjoyed the week."
