Ten months on, terror investigation continues
A POLICE investigation into suspected extremist activity is continuing – 10 months after officers raided five homes.
Three houses in Cobridge, one in Burslem and one in Tunstall were targeted by Staffordshire Police last July as part of an inquiry into people suspected of promoting extremist views.

A significant amount of property was seized during the operation, carried out under the Terrorism Act, but no arrests were made.
The investigation is said to centre around the activities of a "small group of people" suspected of promoting violent extremist views and radicalising vulnerable members of the community.
After the raids, Stoke-on-Trent division's Chief Superintendent Jane Sawyers warned that the subsequent investigation could take some time.
And 10 months later experts are still working their way through evidence.
Ch Supt Sawyers said: "Our inquiries remain active and we are continuing a detailed and thorough investigation to establish the facts.
"During our initial searches we recovered a considerable amount of information which we have had to examine.
"We are continuing to work very closely with partner agencies, including the Crown Prosecution Service."
