Three men accused of stealing power cables

Three men will appear in court next month next month after being charged with stealing power cables.

The men, who were working for a large electricity company, were all arrested last month for the theft of cables in Chemical Lane, Longport.

They have been charged and bailed to appear at North Staffordshire Magistrates Court in Fenton on November 10.

Two of the offenders, aged 21 and 47, are from Stoke-on-Trent, and the third, a 34-year-old, is from Alsager.

Staffordshire Police remains committed to tackling the problem of metal and cable theft across the county.
