Driver should feel shame after parking

I frequently visit Brough Park with my wheelchair bound mother-in-law, who is now in her 90th year.

On Monday June 22, we were appalled by the number of vehicles, clearly without Blue Badges, parked in the disabled bays.

The worst offender – as seen in the submitted photograph – parked across two bays, without any regards to the clear notice requesting consideration.

The owner who appeared after leaving the Leisure Centre told me to "mind my own business" when asked who the disabled person was.

Maybe by publishing the photo it will at least embarrass the owner and remind others who show a total disregard for disabled people.
