There are still Jobs to be found - and this is the place to help you find them! The Sentinel Careers and Training Fair is hosted by experts from a wide range of companies and information and service providers who will help you a plot through these difficult times.

With the gloomy outlook to the economy, you might think that companies have put a stop to recruitment for the time being. In fact, there are still jobs out there if you know where to look. And an excellent place to start your search, whether you want to take your career in a different direction, are ready to return to work after a career break or you are simply interested to know what might be available, is The Sentinel Careers and Training Fair.

At the Careers Fair there will be literally hundreds of opportunities for you to find out about.

Among the companies and organisations currently recruiting that are being represented are Alton Towers, Britannia Building Society, AJH Recruitment, Early Years & Childcare (Parent Direct), Stoke on Trent College, Connections, Assured Recruitment.

If your skills and qualifications could do with some updating, now is a good time to take the opportunity to do, so that you are better equipped to take advantage of opportunities as they arise. So, Stoke-on-Trent College will have staff on hand to chat about courses and training that is available that could help you land a new job or gain promotion in your present one.

This is the first Careers & Training Fair for this year - at the last one held in September 08 hundreds of people called in for a chat with exhibiters to see what was on offer. If you are thinking about a change, make sure you drop in to the Careers & Training Fair on Thursday 22nd January.

The fair is being held in the hotel's Longshaw Suite from 10am to 5.30pm and admission is free.
