Donation in pal's name

STAFF at JCB have raised £600 for the Midlands Air Ambulance in memory of a friend who died in a road accident.

Motorcyclist Borja Gimenez, aged 23, of Wootton, died at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in October following an accident at Ellastone, near Uttoxeter.

Following the death of Mr Gimenez, who worked at JCB Utility Products, in Cheadle, friends gathered at the Denstone Tavern pub for a wake. The £600 raised has now been handed to the air ambulance service.
