Several jailed after raids by the police
February 2010: Ku Pham, aged 45, and 33-year-old Tuan Anh Pham, both of no fixed address, are jailed for 18 months after police searched a disused shop and flat in King Street, Fenton. There were 126 plants in one room and 245 in another.
January 2010: Son Ngoc Nguyen, aged 27, and Hai Trinh, aged 23, are locked up for a year after police seize more than 350 cannabis plants at a house in Alsager.
January 2010: Vung Le is jailed for 20 months. Police found the 39-year-old hiding in a house in Sunningdale Close, Burslem, as more than 400 cannabis plants are seized.
December 2009: Phuc Yuan Dang, aged 36, gets a 20-month sentence for working as a "gardener" at a semi-detached house in Hollybush Road, Blurton. Police found 71 mature cannabis plants in one bedroom and 85 in another.
December 2009: Binh Le, aged 55, is jailed for three years and Phu Nguyen, aged 33, for 12 months. Both men, of no fixed address, were found inside The Kings Arms pub in Hill Street, Stoke, with 400 plants. Le was also charged after police raided a house in Castlefield Street, Shelton, and found 56 plants in a van and 113 inside the property.
October 2009: Ba Phong Nguyen, aged 26, is jailed for 18 months for tending to 176 plants at a house in Smithyfield Road, Norton.
September 2009: Dung Tran, aged 49, is imprisoned for 18 months after police raided a house in Picton Street, Hanley. Police recovered 546 plants.
July 2009: 'Gardener' Phuong Thi Nguyen is jailed for 16 months. The 31-year-old was arrested after police raided an address in Eastwood Place, Hanley, and recovered 306 cannabis plants in five separate rooms.
October 2008: Thu Ngo, aged 24, is jailed for 20 months after pleading guilty to producing cannabis in a disused warehouse in Bucknall Old Road, Northwood. Officers found 448 plants.
