Over the hill and far away (PICTURES)
HUNTSMEN and their hounds were out in force for the Boxing Day hunt.
Around 200 supporters turned out to back the riders who made their way from Dale Farm at Rue Hill, Cauldon Lowe. Around 15 riders took part in the three-hour event.

Senior huntmaster Edward Upton said: "Since the hunting ban came into force we haven't been able to hunt live quarry, so we've laid a mix of trails for the hounds.
"We seem to have had more supporters since the ban. It seems people are determined to continue what is a very good English tradition which has been taking place for thousands of years. We hope one day the ban will be lifted."
