THE Victoria Hall's new organ prom series gets up and running on Saturday, April 10, with a lunchtime recital by York Minster organist Robert Sharpe.

The concert is the first of eight to take place at the Hanley venue on Saturdays between April and November this year.

Future performances include the Scott Brothers Duo on May 1; Ian Tracey on June 26; Simon Preston on July 24; Michael Rhodes on August 14; Keith Hearnshaw on September 11; Oliver Brett on October 9; and Peter Wright on November 20.
