SHIRE Hall Library in Stafford is to run a free workshop for children next weekend in celebration of Local and Community History Month.

Throughout Sunday, September 12, young people will be invited to pop along to the library to make their very own Anglo Saxon helmet.

The workshop is suitable for families with children aged seven to 10.

Places are limited so booking is essential.
